Unlock 5.0 guidelines; Are multiplex stocks good for investment?

Unlock 5.0 guidelines were introduced last evening and have given hopes of normalising things. The Unlock 5.0 begins from 15th October. After 6 months, that seem like an eternity, cinemas will be opened back again.

The holding and seating capacity for these will, however, be just 50%. Swimming pools are going to be functional for training purposes of the sportspeople.

Yet, investing in multiplex stocks would not be recommended. Since many people might still avoid going out or visit public places, the F&B revenue, the highest for the industry, is not guaranteed. Not to mention, that it can only work on 50% capacity which directly affects the fixed cost and the variable cost. Cinemas will also have to invest in keeping up with the sanitation process which then adds onto the operational costs.
