Is it time to switch to mid-cap funds? | The Money Show

Small cap and mid cap indices are trading at elevated valuations. Morningstar investment gives us some investing cues. It recommends underweight allocation to small and mid cap funds. Morningstar also says that the large cap funds are likely to stay at neutral allocation. Small and mid cap funds have potential for alpha generation. Morningstar claims that one must investment in mid and small cap funds for next 7-10 years horizon as mid cap and small cap funds will see a large drawdown in the short run.
