Tata Sons rejects Mistry’s valuation; HP Ranina & Sanjay Asher discuss legal angle on ET Now

Tata Sons and Shapoorji Pallonji group broke ties just some time ago when the two informed that they have ended the ties.

According to the sources, Cyrus Mistry’s valuation is unacceptable to Tata Sons. Tata Sons have carried out their own study and they have found the figure to be much lower. To discuss the same, ET Now’s Nayantara Rai is joined by HP Ranina, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court and Sanjay Asher, Crawford Bayley & Co. Tatas have rejected Mistry’s valuation of Rs 9.7Lk Cr of Tata Sons. According to HP Ranina, if Tata Sons do not agree to the valuation, then this just doesn’t hold any truth.

The sources also suggest that Tatas have neither accepted nor rejected Mistry’s offer to the buyout.
