Will the Samosa Caucas grow in strength? Here's a look at Indian-Americans running for US elections

Have you heard of the Samosa Caucus? It's a name to refer to Indian-American lawmakers who are either part of the US Congress or Senate... The upcoming election could see this caucus growing stronger with many Indian origin names up for election and re-election. Democratic vice-presidential nominee Kamala Harris is the most prominent member of the Samosa Caucus. The other names to watch out for include 4 members of the House of Representatives- Dr Ami Bera, Ro Khana, Raja Krishnamoorthi and Pramila Jayapal.

All four belong to the Democratic party and are set to be re-elected on November 3rd. The other Indian-Americans on the ballot include Dr Hiral Tipirneni, Sri Preston Kulkarni, who have a good chance of making it to Congress... A keenly awaited Senate clash is that of Indian-origin Democratic Senator Sara Gideon, who's maintained a lead in recent polls.

Chandra R Srikanth also tells you about three other Indian-Americans in the race for President and Vice-President in this special report.
