Rosneft and Saudi Aramco unlikely to bid for BPCL, CLSA reiterates buy rating on Bharti Airtel

1. BPCL

Oil majors Rosneft and Saudi Aramco are unlikely to bid in the privatisation of Indian refiner Bharat Petroleum, Reuters reported citing sources familiar with the matter.

2. RIL

Abu Dhabi state fund Mubadala Investment Co is in advanced talks to invest up to $1 billion in the retail division of India's Reliance Industries, two sources told Reuters, as investor interest in the Indian company surges. Mubadala invested around $1.2 billion in Jio Platforms and its executives have held extensive talks in recent weeks with Reliance for investing in its retail venture, several sources familiar with the talks said.


3. AUTO STOCKS

JPMorgan’s latest report says PV retail growth has been surprising positively in September while Tractors momentum expected to remains solid. The brokerage is positive on Maruti/ Hero Moto and on a 12-18 month view preferred picks are M&M and Escorts.
