A study in the United Kingdom on 16000 people has shown that plasma therapy is not as effective in treating Covid-19 patients as the world think it is. There is no significant role of plasma therapy in the treatment of Covid-19. In India also several senior doctors and scientist have been vocal regarding the same and wrote several open letters to the government to ask the medical apex body ICMR to form some guidelines regarding the same.
