Nirmala Sitharaman slams Dr. Amit Mitra over GST Council allegations | Frankly Speaking

Dr. Amit Mitra, West Bengal Finance Minister had written a letter to the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman over the decisions taken by the GST council of the country. Replying to the same, in her interview with TIMES NOW, she explains the GST breakout between states and the center. She rebukes all the allegations made against her by the TMC minister, who called the council omnipotent and autocratic. He had slammed the center of introducing GST to the vaccines and Covid life-saving drugs instead of reducing their prices for various segments of the population.
