Nielsen Report: FMGC growth tapering off?

As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads across the globe, we're monitoring key consumer behaviour thresholds to help fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands and retailers understand the status of each market, as well as how to best respond.

Challenges arising from the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) are likely to accelerate the use of existing and new technologies and tools as consumers go into lockdowns.

According to Nielson's latest report on the impact of COVID-19 on the FMGC industry, it says that the demand in August month fell below pre-COVID level again. It can be because of rationalisation or stabilisation of the demand which was earlier witnessed in the month of June and July.
