Impact on the restaurant industry amidst pandemic | Anurag Katriar of NRAI to ET Now

The restaurant industry was hit hard last year during a nationwide lockdown. This year, history is repeating itself with states announcing weekend curfews and mini lockdowns. 50% of industry may not reopen because of cumulative losses. The industry needs Govt support to include F&B workers in the frontline workers category, expedite process to issue e-passes for teams and waive off all statutory fee, taxes and utility bills.
