IIT Kanpur professor removed over misconduct allegations by foreign student: Dy Director

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur on September 10 removed a senior faculty member from teaching responsibilities after a foreign student accused him of 'inappropriate conduct'. Deputy Director of institute Professor Manindra Agrawal said, "Complaint filed by the student was immediately taken up and professor has been relieved from teaching responsibility. Stringent actions will be taken if he is found guilty."
