Delhiites seek permanent solution to toxic smog conditions

Delhiites did get some respite from the toxic smog on Saturday morning, but demanded that a permanent solution should be brought to curb the menace of pollution hovering over the national capital and nearby areas. One of the city resident emphasised that the Government and people should together pitch for permanent solutions to clean Delhi and NCR's air. Doctors have declared the national capital 'unfit for humans'. All construction activities have been brought to halt, vehicular movement has been restricted and raising parking charges raised four times to push residents to use public transport. Illegal crop burning in nearby states have added to the pollution.
