New Delhi: Fire breaks out at engineers Bhawan near ITO; 3 fire tenders rushed

At the Institution of Engineers building near ITO in central Delhi on Friday, a fire broke out (Jnauary 22). In the incident, no injuries were reported, and the blaze was brought under control, the Fire Department said.

From the metre board of the house, the fire began. At 8.30 am a call was received about the fire, officials from the fire department told PTI. About 8.30 a.m., they got a call about a fire at the Institution of Engineers building at ITO on the metre board. Three fire tenders were rushed to the site in all. The fire was on the building's second floor.

The authorities have officially opened an investigation into the incident and the cause of the fire.
