Cooch Behar firing accident to be probed; Suspended SP reinstated

The latest development in the Sitalkuchi firing in CoochBehar's district is now coming in and the Mamata Banerjee govt will now be investigating the incident. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee took her oath as the state CM yesterday and just hours after her coming back to power, there has been a shuffling in the ranks of the police officials in Cooch Behar. The former SP of Cooch Behar has now been reinstated and will launch an investigation into the Sitalkuchi firing, which took place on April 10th and the CISF opened fire in the area amidst the polls. As many as 29 officials have been transferred after the TMC came back to power, with Mamata Banerjee taking the oath once again.
