5 children become Commissioner of Police for a day in Bengaluru

Bangalore city police joined hands with 'Make-A-Wish' to fulfill wishes of five children of becoming Commissioner of Police for a day. All these children are between the age age group of 5-11. 'Make-A-Wish' fulfills wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions. Children named Ruthan Kumar, Mohammad Sahib, Sayed Imad, Shravani, Arfath Pasha became Commissioner of Police for one day. Children were given guard of honour from Police as well as dog squad. They also interacted with police dogs before assuming the seat. Bhaskar Rao, COP, Bangalore City said, �NGO has approached has a couple of days back saying that the want to go to a police station. 5 children have come over here. All of them were less than 10 years of age. So we made them take a guard of honour. In our small way, we were able to be some service to them.�
