    New Delhi, Oct 18 (IANS) Budget carrier SpiceJet on Wednedsay said it will provide electricity to un-electrified remote village of Baruahchuck, in Majuli district of Assam. The airline has adopted the remote village under its initiative of "Roshan Hoga Desh Hamara", launched on the occasion of Diwali. As part of the initiative, SpiceJet will set up there a "solar microgrid", which will help bring electricity to approximately 70 households, one school, one anganwadi centre and two temples, besides street lighting.

    New Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS) Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet on Friday said it will add Jaisalmer to its domestic network effective from October 29, 2017.     New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS) Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet on Friday said that it has concluded a firm purchase agreement with Bombardier Commercial Aircraft for up to 50 Q400 turbo-prop aircraft. According to SpiceJet, the new order is the single largest ever for the Q400 turbo-prop aircraft programme.     New Delhi, May 18 (IANS) Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet on Thursday said it is the first airline to use the automated e-Gate facility at the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB), for speeding up of the boarding process.
