The rotation that has already started looks quite strong. Everyone is slowly figuring out that inflation is about to go through the roof because of the increasing money supply. Energy is going to skyrocket because it is an inflation hedge. People will be asking themselves why they didn't buy this stock sooner.

Crude Slides With Texas Oil Wells Seen Restarting Output
(Bloomberg) -- Oil fell to the lowest in a week as output slowly resumed in Texas, while margins for processing gasoline surged as Gulf Coast refineries are seen taking weeks to restart operations after the deep freeze.
Crude futures in New York plunged $1.28 on Friday, its biggest decline in dollar terms since late December. Producers including Marathon Oil Corp. are using restored power from grids or generators to resume output that was halted by the frigid weather this week in the Eagle Ford shale basin. Meanwhile, fuel margins jumped with four of the biggest refineries in Texas seen taking several weeks to resume operations, raising the potential for fuel shortages.
“Gasoline crack spreads have exploded, and for good reason,” said Andrew Lebow, senior partner at Commodity Research Group. “Crude production is going to come back up a lot faster than refineries, leaving more crude available than there will be demand for it coming up over the next few weeks.”

Today is another example of the inflation rotation trade. The most overvalued stocks are getting hammered and energy is up. This will continue as the market realizes bond rates are headed up and the Nasdaq gets flushed. Inflation at 4-5% in 2021 would not surprise me.

Tons of refineries are going offline right now due to the cold. Last I saw 3MM+ per day offline. Should be a massive draw on products, which will drive up margins for PBF. Tomorrow (Tuesday), I have a feeling this will be up another 10+ percent. Having another 10MM of products off the board going into summer could drive this stock up a lot.

hello everyone, quick question: is PBF benefiting from the raise of the oil price or the increasing demand of energy? or both ...

The term commodities super cycle is starting to pop up here and there so I started to read about it. There have only been like 5 of them going back through time. If the next one is starting like a few pros are saying then PBF is golden.

I'm not trying to pump the stock. It's just interesting stuff, worth spending 5 minutes reading about if you're in or considering PBF.

All aboard, train is leaving the station. If you are waiting for summer demand to prove the pandemic is over, you'll have to pay $25 per share.

The damage to multiple Texas refineries due to the hard crash then freezing conditions is being under reported. Getting these facilities into safe park, evacuate stranded hydrocarbons, purge, heat, re-start will takes a week or three if nothing froze.

PBF is well positioned to take advantage of this disaster and they will.

PBF is moving ahead, as other refiners in TX taking longer than expected to start production. PBF will benefit from continued gas price surge....

Revenues up 3%, and they lost over $4/share? I don’t care how much cash you have on the balance sheet, I’ll wait. If I sell product at a loss, eventually I can’t pay my debts, not saying that will happen, but I have to see a more mobile economy before I enter a position.

PBF is winner in the current storm situation in Texas. They have no refineries in Texas, so they will see big gain in gas price surge.

$15.58 was the highest it achieved during that spike back in June. I think the run-up is permanent this time.

Lagging the other refinery stocks as far as price recovery from the bottom goes. Maybe tomorrow will fix that. GLTA.

RBOB futures toying with $1.90 and PBF is only half of what it was before the economy shut down as all the news outlets are praising reopening stocks.

The RBOB futures were under a dollar not too long ago.

This stock will be $17 in three months so I don’t care for 10% drop... I trust BlackRock and Slim family which both bought 40% of the company recently
