Have you heard about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge? Check out CEOs dump a bucket of ice cold water over their heads
The Ice Bucket Challenge is a fund raising campaign to raise awareness for ALS Association, also known as the Lou Gehrig’s disease. CEOs, Hollywood celebrities, sportspersons and even politicians are taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The rules are very simple: The participant has to first accept the challenge and then pour icy water over the head. After completing the task, he/she can challenge three others to do the same. The participants have to accept the challenge within 24 hours of being challenged and record a video.
One of the rules is that the participant is expected to donate $10 if they have poured the ice water over their head and donate $100 if they have not. The ALS Association announced it has surpassed $10 million in “Ice Bucket” donations as of August 16, 2014.
