The World Economic Forum has come up with a ‘Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report’ that ranks 136 countries on the basis of factors and policies that enable sustainable development of the travel and tourism sector.
The four broad parameters considered here are: enabling environment, infrastructure, travel and tourism policy, and natural and cultural resources. This year, India’s ranking has improved 12 places in the global ranking.
