The YouTube millionaire: Seven-year-old earns over Rs 150 crores by just reviewing toys on his YouTube channel
Mark Zuckerberg had to wait till 22 to become a millionaire. Bill Gates also had to attain the age of 26 yrs to be a millionaire but that doesn't mean that everybody has to wait that long to earn truck-load of money. Meet Ryan who has been revealed by Forbes Magazine as YouTube's highest-earning star raking in whopping $22million in 2018 alone by simply reviewing toys.
World is busy reviewing heavy tech-gadgets and phones but Ryan has made all this money by reviewing toys on his YouTube channel Ryan ToysReview. He ranks first in Forbes' ranking of this year's highest paid YouTubers in the world. This is a huge leap from his last year's eighth position and his earnings have also doubled in comparison.
According to the Forbes' Magazine, a major portion of his earning came from the ads that are shown before his videos. The report states that nearly 96 percent of his revenue came from ads while the remaining amount came from sponsored posts. Being an underage, 15 per cent of Ryan's earning is kept protected in an account until he is an adult.
His channel Ryan ToysReview was set up by his parents in 2015 and has attracted more than 17 million followers and nearly 26 billion views since then.
Asked by NBC why his videos were so popular, Ryan said: "Because I'm entertaining and I'm funny."
His channel has mostly videos and one of his videos titled " Ryan disappear through a Secret Portal in the house to the North Pole!!!" has garnered 1.6 million views in just one day.
Ryan's YouTube channel has several videos categories such as Animation for kids, Easy and Fun Science Experiments for kids, Educational videos for kids, and Giant Egg Surprise Toys Collector to name few. In fact, there is also a category called "Ryan's Family Review Videos Family Vlog and Family Fun Events and Family Vacations Trips" wherein Ryan and his parents also review the toys in a fun way.
Ryan also has a toy and apparel collection called Ryan's World which is sold exclusively at Walmart. The line is heavily promoted on his YouTube channel and features variety of action figurines, t-shirts, toys, and more.
