Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 price drop; now available from Rs 9,999
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available at the reduced price on Flipkart and mi.com.
The Redmi Note 4 has been one of the best selling smartphones for Xiaomi, and is also the ‘number one selling smartphone’ in India. Xiaomi is now sharing that joy with you. According to a recent post by Xiaomi VP Manu Kumar Jain, the company has announced a permanent price drop of Rs 1,000 for both variants of the Redmi Note 4. Which means, starting now, the Redmi Note 3GB RAM variant will now be priced at Rs 9,999, instead of Rs 10,999. And the 4GB RAM variant will cost Rs 11,999, instead of Rs 12,999. The price drop is applicable on both mi.com and Flipkart.

Recently, for the second consecutive month, the Redmi Note 4 became Xiaomi’s best selling smartphone. Late last month, the company announced that it shipped 10 million smartphones in a month for the second time in a row, and the Redmi Note 4 was the most-selling model of all. In August, Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain also announced that the Redmi Note 4 had been the most sold smartphone in India for two consecutive quarters. Some recent numbers suggested that the company has sold a over 5 million units of the smartphone. Which is quite close to the company’s aim to sell 7 million units of the Redmi Note 4 by the year end.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specifications, features
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in May this year. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display, a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is fueled by a 4,100mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the device supports dual-SIM, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
