Tottenham will face Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the last-16 of this season’s Europa League.

Spurs qualified for Friday’s draw after completing an emphatic 8-1 aggregate rout of Austrian minnows Wolfsberger in north London this week.

Dele Alli was the star of the show in Wednesday’s 4-0 round-of-32 second-leg victory, netting a stunning bicycle kick and also providing assists for Gareth Bale and Carlos Vinicius, with the latter going on to score a brace.

Tottenham had already effectively wrapped up the tie six days earlier with a similarly dominant 4-1 first-leg triumph in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

Spurs are looking to the Europa League to effectively save their season, with the competition likely now offering their only real potential route into the Champions League next term.

A miserable run of five defeats from their last six top-flight matches has piled the pressure on Jose Mourinho, whose team are ninth in the Premier League and nine points adrift of the top four ahead of Sunday’s visit of Burnley to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
