Best-Selling Bikes In India September 2018: The Hero Splendor has beaten the Honda Activa 5G in the month of September 2018. The Hero Splendor emerged as the best-selling bike in September by a narrow margin. Hero has maintained its supremacy in the commuter bike segment with four of its bikes in the list.

The sales report for the month of September 2018 has once again proved that the Honda Activa 5G is India's best-selling scooter. Honda CB Shine has occupied the tenth position in the top-selling bikes list. TVS Jupiter has jumped to the sixth position as compared to the seventh position in the sales report of August 2018.

Honda Activa 5G

The Honda Activa 5G was launched in the Indian market in March 2018. The latest avatar of the Activa comes with a host of new features such as full-LED headlight, 4-in-1 locking mechanism and new colours. With the new features and cosmetic updates, the Honda Activa 5G has further increased its market reach.

Hero HF Deluxe

The Hero HF Deluxe is a commuter motorcycle and it shares the same engine and cycle parts as of the Splendor. The HF Deluxe is equipped with additional features such as alloy wheels and electric start. Hero MotoCorp also retails a special green colour variant named as the Hero HF Deluxe ECO.

TVS XL Super

The TVS XL Super is a moped and it is mainly used as a utility two-wheeler. The TVS XL 100 is equipped with all the essential features and is available with vibrant colour choices. The TVS XL is designed to carry heavy loads and the single-speed gearbox makes things easy for the rider.

Hero Passion

The Hero Passion is a premium commuter bike and it is available in three variants: Pro, Pro 110 and X Pro. TVS Jupiter

The TVS Jupiter is a 110cc scooter and currently, it is the second best-selling scooter in the country. Bajaj CT 100

The Bajaj CT 100 is an entry-level commuter bike and it features a simple design. The Bajaj CT 100 is a practical bike to ride in the city with impressive mileage and low kerb weight. The list of top-selling two-wheelers of last month comes with a lot of surprises. The most prominent development is that the Hero Splendor has beaten the Honda Activa. The TVS XL has also jumped to the fourth position and the Jupiter has also climbed a position as compared to the August sales figures. The sales report shows that the majority of Indian buyers prefer affordable bikes as compared to the premium two-wheelers.
