Going by Samsung's track record, the company usually brings its Note devices to India in the same month as the global launch. Meaning, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to launch in India in August. Ahead of the official announcement, new information about the handset is popping up in the internet almost every other day. Now a new image has leaked showing the phone together with the S Pen.
On Thursday, a promotional image of the Note 9 leaked online. The image also gives us a glance of the S Pen alongside the handset. The promotional image, that has been discovered by folks at Slashleaks, shows a yellow colour S Pen. While the phone is painted in Purple colour. To recollect, previous rumours had hinted that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be launching in five colours -- Teddy Brown, Black, Blue, Lavender, and Grey. The new leaked image most likely include the Lavender colour variant of the Note 9.
In the leaked image, we can see the back panel of the Note 9. No revelations of the front screen design. The image re-confirms that the Galaxy Note 9 will come with dual rear cameras. Although it isn't clearly visible, there seems to be a LED flash next to the cameras.
The image goes in line with the rumours circulation on the internet. The placement of the fingerprint sensor will see a change in the Note 9. The image shows that the fingerprint sensor on the Note 9 will sit right below the rear camera set up in a rectangular housing. This will be a great news for the Samsung fans, who after the launch of the Note 8 had complaints regarding the placement of the fingerprint sensor of the phone.
Another information that the leaked image reveals is that Samsung will not ditch the headphone jack as rumoured previously. The handset will include the 3.5mm headphone jack just as the Galaxy Note 8 on the bottom edge of the handset.
Coming to the S Pen now. As already mentioned, the image shows the S Pen placed right on top of the handset. The S Pen appears in yellow colour, however, the top of the pen is painted in purple or Lavender. The colour of the S Pen is likely to vary with the colour of the phone.
The S Pen of the Note 9 will be smarter than another other S Pen. The S Pen of the Note 9 is said to come with Bluetooth support and several other smart features. Apparently, with the S Pen, you'll be able to control Bixby, play or control music and more.
As far as the design of the handset, the Note 9 may not see a lot of difference compared to the Note 8. In terms of the specs, the Note 9 is tipped to come with a 6.4-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. This means the screen size of the Note 9 will be slightly bigger than the Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch display. Apart from the camera and S Pen, another major difference that Note 9 may see is in its battery. Rumours suggest that the Note 9 will come with a massive 4,000mAh battery.
