Royal Enfield launches Bullet 350 and Bullet 350 ES with ABS, price starts at Rs 1.21 lakh
Royal Enfield has launched Bullet 350 and Bullet 350 ES with single channel ABS (Antilock Braking System). The two models have also been equipped with RLP (Rear-wheel Lift Protection). With both the motorcycles getting fresh updates, customers will have to dish out Rs 3,500 more for Royal Enfield Bullet 350 that is now priced at Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and Rs 1,400 extra for Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES that now costs Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Now that Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES have been equipped with ABS, the entire product range of the company comes with the braking system. Moreover, Royal Enfield had to update its models with ABS keeping in mind the new safety norms.
Both Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES get a 346 cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, twinspark, air cooled engine. The motor produces 19.8 bhp at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.
Until recently, Royal Enfield Bullet 350 came with drum brakes at the front and rear, while Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES was equipped with 280 mm disc at the front. With the ABS, the former is expected to get the same 280 mm disc up front.
Earlier this week, Royal Enfield reported a 20 per cent decline in monthly sales to 60,831 units in March 2019 and a 1 per cent rise in total sales to 8,26,098 units for the financial year 2018-19.
Last month, the company launched Bullet Trials Works Replica 350 and Bullet Trials Works Replica 500 in India. While Royal Enfield Bullet Trials Works Replica 350 is priced at Rs 1,62,345 (ex-showroom, India), Royal Enfield Bullet Trials Works Replica 500 costs Rs 2,07,104 (ex-showroom, India). For Kerala, Royal Enfield Bullet Trials Works Replica 500 is priced at Rs 1,99,899 (ex-showroom).
