OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 could launch with OnePlus 7 series, suggests latest leak

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 is expected to be announced along with the OnePlus 7 series on May 14.

The tech community is excited for the launch of the OnePlus 7 series. OnePlus is actively teasing several features of the phones via advertisements in newspapers and on social media. The OnePlus 7 Pro is the highlight of this year's launch event - a proper flagship smartphone that will take on the likes of Samsung's Galaxy S10 and Apple iPhone XR. However, OnePlus may not be only releasing phones at the May 14 launch event.

A recent Twitter post by a tech blogger showed photos of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 from several angles. The Bullets Wireless 2 looks pretty similar to the original Bullets Wireless earphones. However, the earbuds have a slightly modified design - they have removed the ear hooks and made the buds curvier. The Bullets Wireless 2 still retains the neckband. The earbuds also seem to retain the magnetic connection feature.

Apart from the Bullets Wireless 2, the post also leaked a OnePlus car charger that supports 30W Warp Charging. The car charger looks similar to conventional car chargers. With support for Warp Charging, it is expected that OnePlus could offer Warp Charge 30 as standard on both the OnePlus 7 series phones.

The first generation Bullets Wireless earphones were launched alongside the OnePlus 6. Priced at Rs 3,999, the Bullets Wireless offer seamless integration to OnePlus devices and offer protection from water.

The OnePlus 7 series is being positioned as the next major unveiling from OnePlus. With the OnePlus 7 Pro, the company is venturing into the proper flagship smartphone territory. The leaks have already suggested so far that OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a fullscreen display with a 90Hz refresh rate. In order to achieve the fullscreen display, OnePlus is opting to go for a pop-up selfie camera.

Both the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset and will come with a maximum of 12GB RAM. The OnePlus 7 Pro will have a triple camera setup, with rumours suggesting that it will have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor as the primary camera. A 4000mAh battery is expected to keep the phone alive.

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 7 series on May 14 at an event in Bengaluru.
