The LG G6, which is scheduled to launch in India on April 24, will start at Rs 51,990 and will go on sale from April 29, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The G6 will further be available alongside a barrage - four to be precise - of offers including a Rs 7,000 cash back on HDFC and SBI credit and debit card on both EMI and non-EMI transactions, the retailer wrote on Twitter.
Should the price and availability be close to what the retailer has mentioned - which going by his track record, it should - the LG G6 will have a competitive edge over Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ phones. The Galaxy S8 starts at Rs 57,900 and will be available for buying from May 5.

The LG G6, to recall, was first announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February. Successor to last year's modular phone, the G5, the LG G6 comes with an unusual 18:9 Full Vision display -- instead of a regular 16:9 -- and a wide-angle 13-megapixel dual rear camera system.
On the inside, the phone is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32/64GB of internal memory which is further expandable via a microSD card slot. It is further backed by a 3,300mAh battery with support for fast charging.
The G6 comes with a dual camera system on the rear, consisting of two 13-megapixel sensors - - offering a 125-degree wide angle -- with one working 'specifically' to offer the wider field of view. It also sports a 5-megapixel camera with a 'wide' 100-degree field of view on the front.
