PM Narendra Modi UNGA Speech Live Telecast: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the terrorism was not a challenge for any one country, but for all countries and of mankind as a whole. So for the sake of humanity, all the world has to unite against terror’, he added. The PM also said India’s contribution towards United Nations Peace-keeping missions has been immense, no other country in the world has sacrificed as much as India has for these peace-keeping missions. He also said that India is a country which has given the world Buddha not Yuddha (war) and the message of peace.

He underlined the giant strides taken by India in its efforts to achieve the sustainable goals outlined by the United Nations in his second address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York today. Listing out the achievements of the country in the field of construction of toilets, affordable healthcare and ending the use of single-use plastic, the Prime Minister told the gathering that the efforts of the government are made keeping the 130 crore Indians at the centre. The Prime Minister also outlined India’s cultural heritage and said that the efforts being made by India find its roots in its culture that dates back thousands of years. PM Modi also said that he stood before the gathering today because of the massive mandate in his favour by 130 crore Indians.
