This is likely the iPhone XR successor Apple will launch this year
Like last year Apple is expected to launch three iPhones this year as well. Leaks and rumours have already revealed quite some details about the iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max -- Apple is yet to reveal the official names of the new iPhones. Now, this is for the first ever time that we are getting to take a glance at the successor to the iPhone XR -- that is likely to be called the iPhone XE or iPhone XR 2019. Apple is yet to reveal the name of the iPhones. The newly leaked renders that come from Pricebaba website (in collaboration with Onleaks) shows the iPhone XR successor from almost all angles.
The renders reveal that as far as the overall design is concerned the iPhone XR successor will not see much difference. The iPhone XR successor or the iPhone XE will have the same screen size and front notch as the original iPhone XR. However, there's just a slight change on the back panel. Similar to the iPhone XI renders the iPhone XE also show the iPhone with a square-shaped camera bump but it has only two cameras on it. The iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max appear with triple camera module on the back panel. The camera module is arranged in a vertical fashion and is paired with an LED flash that sits on the right side.
The interesting bit is the renders show the iPhone XR successor in several colours like red, blue, yellow, black, white, among others. As far as the specs are concerned the leak suggests that the iPhone XR successor will include the same 6.1-inch display on the front. The phone is also said to include an LCD panel with a resolution of 1,792 x 828 pixels similar to the iPhone XR. The back panel of the iPhone XR successor will be made of glass, of course.
The renders further reveal that the iPhone XR successor will include the Lightning port at the bottom along with the loudspeaker grill. On the ride side, there's the power button and SIM card tray while on the left there are the volume and mute buttons.
Past rumours have revealed that the iPhone XR successor will be powered by the latest A13 Bionic chipset -- however, Apple is yet to confirm the chipset. Rumours suggest that this A13 Bionic SoC will be using TSMC's 7nm+ package. This new processor is expected to be much more powerful when compared to the A12 Bionic.
Rumours further reveal that the iPhone XR 2019 will include a primary 12MP sensor on the rear panel while the second will be a 2x telephoto lens. To recollect the iPhone XR includes only a single sensor on the back panel. This means the upcoming "affordable" iPhone will see a significant upgrade as for the camera setup is concerned. As of now, there are no reports on the specs of the front camera. Meanwhile, some rumours reveal that Apple will be offering an 18W charger with the upcoming iPhones. There's no official word from the company on this yet.
