A few days ago, the filming of KGF: Chapter 2 in Kolar Gold Mines was banned by a court verdict. A resident of the area filed a complaint against the filmmakers claiming that the shoot is affecting the environment there.
The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in Kolar Gold Fields passed an interim order to stop the film's shooting that was progressing at Cyanide Hills.
According to reports, the makers have now raised huge sets in Hyderabad and Bangalore, and have shifted the shooting to these two cities.
After a brief gap, the film has gone on floors today. The upcoming film is touted to be made on a huge budget and Yash said that the makers have kept a lot of best things for the second part.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film stars Sirinidhi Shetty, Anant Nag, and Saran Shakthi. Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is the new addition to the film's cast. Sanjay was not part of the first part. However, in Chapter 2, he is playing the antagonist role named Adheera.
Speaking to PTI, the actor said,"Adheera's character is very powerful. If you have seen Avengers, you would know Thanos. So, Adheera is like him. He is a very dangerous character with a dangerous get-up. And that's the zone I was looking for."
