Kerala government, Centre playing blame-game as COVID-19 spreads rapidly: Rahul Gandhi

Wayanad (Kerala) [India], October 20 (ANI): Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that the Centre and the Pinarayi government in Kerala are playing a "blame-game" while COVID-19 cases was increasing rapidly.

"Reviewed Covid management in my constituency. The state and central governments are playing a blame-game while COVID-19 is spreading rapidly. It's critical this stops and everyone focuses on defeating COVID-19," he tweeted.

Earlier on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi attended a review meeting on COVID-19 at Wayanad Collectorate, the All India Mahila Congress said.

Gandhi had visited the Malappuram Collectorate for a COVID-19 review meeting on Monday.

The Congress MP reached Kerala for a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency, from October 19 to October 21.

The main focus of his visit to his constituency is to review the coronavirus pandemic situation in different areas of his constituency. On October 17, the Congress party in a release gave details about his scheduled visit. (ANI)
