Justin Bieber in post-wedding interview with Hailey Baldwin: Sex can cause a lot of pain
The newly married couple, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, recently got up close and personal with an entertainment magazine.
The couple, who is famous for their headline-making PDA sessions, opened up about their love story from the time they first met to the time they got married.
Justin spoke about his addictions to drugs and sex in order to find some stability in life, which was being highly scrutinized under the public eye.
The pop singer revealed that he had to give up sex and drugs to feel closer to god.
The couple apparently met after a long time in June of 2018 and then got engaged a month later. Justin was already more than a year deep into a self-imposed tenure of not having sex during that period.
Justin said that he had "a legitimate problem with sex." According to the interview, it (sex) was his last addiction that he was trying to forego.
He said, "He (Jesus) doesn't ask us not to have sex for him because he wants rules and stuff. He's like, I'm trying to protect you from hurt and pain."
Justin continues, "I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they don't feel good enough. Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that. I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul. And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result. There are perks. You get rewarded for good behavior."
By saying this, Justin finally put all the rumors of Hailey being pregnant, as the reason to why the couple got married so fast, at rest.
However, the desire to have sex with Hailey was one of the major reasons that the couple had such a short courtship period, Justin claimed in the interview.
He was quoted, "When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life. I was like, Holy cow, this is what I've been looking."
