Jharkhand: Three Naxals, CRPF personnel killed in encounter in Belbha Ghat
Three Naxals and one Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in an encounter in Jharkhand's Giridih district. The encounter between the security forces and the Naxals took place around 6 am on Monday (April 15) during a special operation by the CRPF in Belbha Ghat forests.
Troops of the 7th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today carried out a special operation in the forest area of Belbha Ghat.
Officials said that three bodies of Maoists along with an AK-47 Rifle, three bullet magazines, and four pipe bombs have been recovered from the encounter site till now.

A CRPF jawan was also killed in the encounter, officials said. The force is looking for more recoveries and a search is being conducted in the encounter area, they said.
Jharkhand is going to polls in the final four phases of the Lok Sabha elections. Giridih district is going to polls in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
