India bound Renault Kaptur's specs revealed
The buzz surrounding the Renault Kaptur's impending arrival in the Indian automobile market is getting stronger. The specifications of the India-spec model have been revealed and the crossover will share a lot with the Duster.
Speaking of the engine, the Captur will use the same powerplants as in the Duster, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units. Renault has not mentioned anything about an automatic gearbox but we can expect a four-wheel drive set up and an automatic gearbox to be offered later. The engine's might also get a bump in power.
The Kaptur in India will get full LED-Head Lamps and LED DRLs. The interiors will be dual-tone while customers will have the option of customising the exterior with a contrast roof option.
The Kaptur will be positioned above the Duster and is aimed at the Hyundai Creta in terms of competition.
