Hyundai, which claims itself to be India's second largest car manufacturer and largest exporter, unveiled Venue on April 17 in the country along with the compact SUV's world preview at the 2019 New York International Auto Show.

With the launch of Hyundai Venue scheduled next month, this compact SUV is the hot property in the Indian car market at the moment. Every auto enthusiast is talking about it and many first-time car buyers are looking to bring it home as well. All the eyes seem to be on Hyundai Venue and while it is garnering attention from all the corners, we can definitely say that it does deserve all of it.

Hyundai, which claims itself to be India's second largest car manufacturer and largest exporter, unveiled Venue on April 17 in the country along with the compact SUV's world preview at the 2019 New York International Auto Show. Hyundai Venue is expected to be a formidable force in the compact SUV segment dominated by Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and featuring several other players like Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300.

Hyundai always comes up with an impressive design and it has treated Venue in a similar manner. The compact SUV is loaded with features. It sports an aggressive front dark chrome grille, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, chrome outside door handles, shark fin antenna, projector type fog lamps and LED taillamps. With regard to comfort and convenience features, it has an electric sunroof, cruise control, air purifier, wireless charger, voice recognition, Arkamys sound, rear AC vents, cornering lamps and glove box cooling.

Hyundai Venue might be priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). There will be three engine options -- Kappa 1.0-litre Turbo-GDI petrol, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel. Transmission options will be manual as well as automatic.

There are six airbags in Hyundai Venue. Other safety features are ABS with EBD, speed sensing auto door lock, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Brake Assist System (BAS) and Isofix.

Hyundai has also introduced its global connectivity solution 'BlueLink' in Venue. The new technology will have 33 features out of which 10 are India specific. There will also be an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

To make the Hyundai Venue completely hassle-free, the company is providing 3-year/unlimited km warranty and 3-year roadside assistance with the compact SUV. The car manufacturer is also claiming it will offer the lowest cost of maintenance with a doorstep service facility.
