Hyundai Venue: Expected price, launch, specifications and all other details you need to know
Hyundai Venue is all set to make its global debut at the New York International Auto Show on April 17, 2019. A simultaneous premiere of the compact SUV will take place in India also. The new vehicle is expected to rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
There have been a lot of claims and speculations surrounding Hyundai Venue. One such claim is that Hyundai will launch Venue in India on May 21, 2019. Even the company has claimed that the compact SUV will be big on personality, connectivity and performance.
A very interesting feature about Hyundai Venue will be its connectivity solution -- 'Hyundai BlueLink'. It will have 33 new features in all, out of which 10 will be exclusively for India. The fact that there are several features only for India, in a way, shows the importance of the Indian market in the overall scheme of plans of Hyundai. Hyundai Venue is expected to be launched in India in May 2019.
Speculations are that Hyundai will price Venue SUV in the range of Rs 8 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
From the spy images of Hyundai Venue and the recent design sketches unveiled by the firm, we are pretty sure that the upcoming compact SUV will have a very sporty design. The front fascia gets a bold grille combined with split headlamps. There are diamond-cut alloy wheels as well as roof rails. The rear end gets LED tail lamps, spoiler and skid plate. There will be a sunroof as well.
Expectations are that Hyundai Venue will have a spacious cabin. The back seat will accommodate three individuals comfortably. We can be sure about the compact SUV featuring plush upholstery. There will also be a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Under the hood, Hyundai Venue might get two petrol engine options and a diesel option. We are expecting a 1.4-litre petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor and a 1.4-litre diesel mill. Apart from the usual manual gearbox option, the compact SUV is expected to get an automatic transmission as well.
The most interesting aspect of Hyundai Venue will be BlueLink. It will have features like auto crash notification, SOS/emergency assistance, roadside assistance, stolen vehicle immobilisation, remote climate control, auto DTC check, maintenance alert, live traffic information, live car tracking, geo-fence alert, speed alert, valet alert and voice recognition - Indian English, among others.
