Holi special trains: Indian Railways all set to cater to extra rush this festival season; see train list here

Holi special trains: Are you planning to visit your family or friends during this Holi festival? If yes, then you would be glad to that Indian Railways is operating several Holi special trains. The special services will be operated in order to clear the extra rush of passengers and to provide a comfortable journey to passengers, during the Holi festival 2019. The Northern Railway has recently issued a press release stating that the zone will be running a total of 46 train trips to various destinations across the country. Following are the Holi special trains with their halt stations and coach details:

1) Train number 04924 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Weekly Express Special will depart at 11.15 PM and will arrive at 5.30 PM the next day on 14 and 21 March. On return journey, train number 04923 Gorakhpur -Chandigarh Weekly Express Special will depart at 10.10 PM and will arrive at 2.25 PM the next day on 15 and 22 March. The train will halt at Ambala Cantt., Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti stations. The train comprises of AC two tier, sleeper class, five general class and second class cum luggage van coaches.

2) Train number 04022 Anand Vihar Terminal-Patna AC Express Special will depart at 12.10 AM and will arrive at 6.00 PM the same day on 16 and 23 March. On return journey, train number 04021 Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal AC Express Special will depart at 7.35 PM and arrive at 2.20 PM the next day on 16 and 23 March. The train will halt at Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahabad, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (Mughalsarai) Buxar, Ara stations. The train comprises of AC three tier coaches.

3) Train number 04404 New Delhi-Barauni AC Special will depart at 7.25 PM and will arrive at 7.45 PM the next day from 12 to 22 March, on every Tuesday and Friday. On return journey, train number 04403 Barauni-New Delhi AC Special will depart at 9.35 PM and will arrive at 10.10 PM the next day from 13 to 23 March on every Wednesday and Saturday. The train will halt at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hazipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations. The train comprises of AC three tier, AC two tier coaches.

4) Train number 04418 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Pune Weekly AC Superfast Express Special will depart at 9.35 PM and will arrive at 9.25 PM the next day from 12 to 26 March on every Tuesday. On return journey, train number 04417 Pune-Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly AC Superfast Express Special will depart at 5.15 AM and will arrival at 5.35 AM the next day from 14 to 28 March on every Thursday. The train will halt at Mathura Junction, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan and Lonavala stations. The train comprises of AC 2 tier and AC 3 tier coaches.

5) Train number 04206 Lucknow-Kolkatta Weekly Express Special will depart at 11.45 PM and arrive at 9.45 PM the next day from 11 to 25 March on every Monday. On return journey, train number 04205 Kolkatta-Lucknow Weekly Express Special will depart at 11.55 PM and will arrive at 10.15 PM the next day from 12 to 26 March on every Tuesday. The train will halt at Sultanpur, Varanasi, Pt. Din Dayal Upadhyay (Mughalsarai) Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokameh, Kiul, Jhajha, Jasidih, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Durgapur, Bardwan and Bandel stations. The train comprises of AC three tier, sleeper class, general class and disable friendly second class cum luggage van coaches.

6) Train number 04052 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhaya Weekly Special will depart at 11.45 AM and arrive at 2.45 PM the third day from 13 to 20 March. On return journey, train number 04051 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Weekly Special will depart at 5.35 AM and will arrive at 6.15 PM the next day from 16 to 23 March. The train will halt at Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad, Chandaul, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Manakpur, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hazipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria, Naugachhia, Katihar, Kishangaj, New Jalpaiguri, Binnaguri, Alipurdwar Junction, Korajhar, New Bangoingaon and Golpara Town stations. The train comprises of AC two tier, AC three tier and sleeper class coaches.

7) Train number 04918 Firozepur-Katihar Weekly Special will depart at 10.40 AM and will arrive at 7.00 PM the next day on 16 and 23 March. On return journey, train number 04917 Katihar-Firozepur Weekly Special will depart at 11.00 PM and arrive at 8.40 AM third day on 17 and 24 March. The train will halt at Moga, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt., Jagadhari, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Mankapur, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hazipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria and Naugachhia stations. The train comprises of AC 3 tier, sleeper class, general class and second class cum luggage coaches.

8) Train number 05101 Chhapra-Delhi Weekly Jansadharan Unreserved Special will depart at 4.00 PM and will arrive at 12.30 PM next day on 17, 24 and 31 March. On return journey, train number 05102 Delhi-Chhapra Weekly Jansadharan Unreserved Special will depart at 2.00 PM and will arrive at 10.55 AM the next day on 18, 25 March and 1 April. The train will halt at Ballia, Mau, Muhammadabad, Azamgarh, Khorsan Road, Shahganj, Faizabad, Lucknow (NR), Bareilly and Moradabad stations. The train comprises of unreserved general class coaches.

9) Train number 05097 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special will depart at 2.30 PM and arrive at 6.00 AM the next day on 17, 19 and 22 March. On return journey, train number 05098 Anand Vihar Terminal-Gorakhpur Special will depart at 8.00 AM and arrive at 10.55 PM the next day on 18, 20 and 23 March. The train will halt at Khalilabad, Basti , Gonda, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations. The train comprises of AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, sleeper class and disable friendly second class cum luggage van coaches.

10) Train number 09451 Gandhidham-Bhagalpur Weekly Special will depart on 15 March. On return journey, train number 09452 Bhagalpur-Gandhidham Weekly Special will depart on 18 March. En route, the train will halt at Bhachau, Samakhiali, Dhrangdhra, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bayana, Bharatpur, Achnera, Mathura Junction, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda Junction, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan Junction, Chhapra, Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Sahibpur, Monghyr and Sultanganj stations. The train comprises of AC two tier, AC three tier, sleeper class, general class and disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches.
