Kolkata-based infrastructure company, GPT Infraprojects announced after trading hours on Thursday that it has received an order worth Rs 102.80 crore from National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).
The order relates to the widening of two-lane with a hard shoulder of Churachandpur to Tuivai section of NH 102B in the state of Manipur on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode. The company stated to a press release to BSE that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions.
Taking into consideration the latest order, the company now has orders in hand of nearly Rs 1,610 crore, including a cumulative order inflow of around Rs 218 crore for the current financial year.
GPT Infraprojects has strong project execution capabilities, a healthy financial base and growth prospects across all areas of operation. The company operates through two business divisions-infrastructure and sleepers. The company made inroads into the infrastructure segment in 2004 and is now an established railway focussed player. In addition, the company is engaged in the execution of civil and infrastructure projects, especially large bridges for railways.
On Thursday, the stock of GPT Infraprojects closed at Rs 24.15, up by 2.11 per cent or Rs 0.50 per share. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 51.70 and the 52-week low is Rs 13 on BSE.
