Ganga Quiz: An Online National Quiz For Students

The national river of India, Gang river, is a deep and rich cultural, historical and religious heritage. A national online quiz on Ganga is conducted to connect the children and youth to the national river by enhancing awareness and knowledge. Students of age 10 years or above are eligible to participate in the Ganga Quest Quiz. Enthusiasts are advised to explore all the details about the Ganga quiz and Ganga quest quiz registration.

The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti is rolled out with objectives such as effective pollution abatement and conservation and rejuvenation of the river Ganga and its tributaries. 'Namami Gange' is a flagship programme of NMCG and it organises Ganga Quest - an online National Quiz on Ganga.

NMCG in association with Tree Craze Foundation organises Ganga Quest - an online National Quiz on Ganga with the aim to increase the public participation for 'Namami Gange' programme and to enhance ownership of children and youth for rivers and Ganga.

Candidates have to register online for Ganga Quest Quiz registration - One can register - individual or school.

Ganga Quest Quiz Rules

  • Anyone of age 10 years or above is eligible to participate in the quiz.
  • Participants willing to participate in Ganga Quest should register in the website with a valid ID, such as Aadhar Card. However, if Aadhar Card is not available, participant can enter any other valid ID details. Valid ID includes passport, birth certificate, and school ID.
  • Mass registration is available for schools.
  • Students from school should mention the correct details of their schools. If the details of the schools are found incorrect, then they may get disqualified as the verification process will not be complete.
  • Since the quiz is online, participants must ensure accessibility to computer and Internet connectivity with a minimum speed of 512 Kbps.

The organisers will award exciting prizes. The schools with maximum participation will also be duly recognized.

  • Starting date - April 22, 2020 (World Earth Day)
  • Closing date - May 22, 2020 (World Biodiversity Day)
  • Winners - June 5, 2020 (World Environment Day)
