Flipkart big sale starts: ZenFone Max Pro M1 at Rs 9,999, Apple Watch at Rs 24,900 and 5 other top deals to know
Flipkart has started its Big Shopping Days sale. It will last for three days, which means it starts today and ends on midnight of December 8. Now, the discounts aren't as good as what we saw in the pre-Diwali sales. But they aren't all that shabby, and you may end up getting a pretty neat deal on the product you are eyeing. There are some good discounts of Asus phones, on Nokia phones, on iPhones and even on the MacBook Air, which recently saw its price revised to little over Rs 88,000 by Apple.
The deals are also good on Flipkart because right now, during this fest period, the e-retail site is also offering additional 10 per cent discount (maximum discount of Rs 1500, minimum cart value of Rs 4500). When you combine this HDFC Bank card offer with the existing discount that Flipkart is giving as part of the Big Shopping Day Sale, you end up with some neat deals. Here are seven deals today that are worth your attention in the Flipkart Big Shopping Days.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 for Rs 9,999: While Asus isn't as buzzy -- or busy -- a brand as Xiaomi, this is probably the best phone to buy under Rs 10,000. In fact, if you combine the HDFC bank offer with this deal, you will end up getting the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 for around Rs 9,000. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 processor, which is fast and capable, and the phone's software is close to stock Android, which is also nice.
Apple Watch Series 3 at Rs 24,900: Apple has already launched the Series 4 Watch, but that we believe is too expensive. Instead, go for the Watch Series 3. It has most of the functionality that you get with the Series 4, particularly the fitness features, and at Rs 24,900 in the Flipkart sale it is priced just right.
LG G7 ThinQ at Rs 29,999: With Snapdragon 845 inside it, a beautiful design, fantastic build quality, a superb screen and capable cameras, the LG G7 ThinQ is one of the best phones of 2018. And it is seriously underrated for what it offers. At this price, we believe the LG G7 ThinQ is the best phone to buy if you want a phone under Rs 30,000. It's better than Poco F1, and it is better than a ZenFone, an Honor or a Nokia in this segment.
Google Pixel 2 at Rs 34,999: Want a phone with a great camera and clean, latest Android 9 Pie software? You will have to buy the Pixel 3, which sells at a price of more than Rs 70,000. Or you can get the Pixel 2, which is selling for Rs 34,999 in the Flipkart sale. The Pixel 2 at this price is a fantastic phone: It's fast, has a good screen, and comes with superb software and camera. In fact, the Pixel 2 is so good at clicking photos that it can match the cheap DSLR cameras.
MacBook Air at Rs 57,999: Recently, Apple increased the price of the older MacBook Air. The new MRP is little more than Rs 88,000. But the sale on the Air continues, and while the deal isn't as good as what you would have got earlier when the MRP of the Air was around Rs 77,000, the latest deal is a pretty good opportunity to get the Air. In the Flipkart deal, Air now sells for Rs 57,999. This is the price for 128GB variant.
Honor 10 at Rs 24,999: The Honor 10 was launch at a price around Rs 30,000 earlier in Summer. Now at that price, the phone went up against OnePlus 6, and the OnePlus was better. But at Rs 24,999? Absolutely, go for the Honor 10 if you are looking for a phone that has a gorgeous design, a very nice screen and one of the best cameras in its segment.
Nokia 6.1 Plus at Rs 14,999: The Nokia 6.1 Plus is a perennial favourite for us at the India Today Tech, and at the price of Rs 14,999 we believe it is a very good phone to purchase. Reasons? Fast, clean and latest Android 9 Pie software. A very handsome looking design that uses glass body and metal frame, a display that is slightly better than the others in this price segment, and a handy size with screen of 5.8 inches, which is neither too small nor too big. Worth it, we say.
