State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest public sector bank in the country with more than 42 crore customers.
It offers a number of ATM-cum-Debit cards for its customers. The bank has also set certain limits and rules for ATM cash withdrawals and other transactions depending on the debit card type.

Transaction charges: State Bank of India's domestic ATM transaction charges
SBI allows its ATM-cum-Debit users to transact for free at the ATMs of State Bank Group.
SBI debit cardholders can also transact at ATMs of other banks; however, they are entitled to only five free monthly transactions, including financial and non-financial transactions.
Beyond the free transactions, however, customers are charged Rs. 17 per financial transaction and Rs. 6 per non-financial transaction including tax.
#1: State Bank Classic Debit Card, Global International Debit Card
SBI Global International Debit Card users can withdraw upto Rs. 40,000/day (foreign currency equivalent of Rs. 40,000 at international ATMs). While the daily PoS transaction limit is Rs. 75,000, the online transaction limit is Rs, 50,000 per transaction and per month.
#2: SBI Silver International Debit Card, Gold International Debit Card
For SBI Silver International Debit Card, maximum ATM withdrawal-limit is Rs. 40,000/day ($1,000 or equivalent at international ATMs) while PoS/online transaction limit is Rs. 75,000 ($1,500 or equivalent).
For SBI Gold International Debit Card, maximum ATM withdrawal-limit is Rs. 50,000/day (equivalent of Rs. 50,000 at international ATMs); PoS/e-Commerce limit is Rs. 2,00,000 (for international transactions, e-Commerce limit is equivalent of Rs. 50,000 per month).
#3: SBI Platinum International Debit Card, Tap & Go Debit Card
For SBI Platinum International Debit Card, maximum ATM withdrawal limit is Rs. 1,00,000/day or equivalent; PoS/online transaction limit is Rs. 2,00,000 (on international websites, the limit is equivalent of Rs. 50,000/month).
For the contactless sbiINTOUCH Tap & Go Debit Card, the maximum ATM withdrawal limit is Rs. 40,000/day or equivalent, PoS/e-Commerce is Rs. 75,000 (for international online transactions, the limit is Rs. 50,000/month).
