The news is official that the PSA Group will launch it first product in two years’ time and it will showcase the new car on April 3. Citroen has been chosen for India with the aim of being a more premium offering for a market that has no dearth of players. Thus for India the strategy is quite clear and it will be centered around localisation, plus making the product suitable for India. Make in India for India, in a nutshell.
One of the biggest products that we think would work is the C3 Aircross SUV. It goes without saying that SUVs are a sure shot way of getting that crucial foothold in the Indian market. The C3 Aircross is a Creta/Kona rival and is a stylish crossover of sorts. It is based on the C3 hatchback and is a competent SUV.
However, like all French cars, being different is in its DNA and the design is clearly the biggest USP of the C3 Aircross. It is bursting with various design details plus on the inside, it has more features than its rivals. Being unique is what the Citroen brand is all about and that is what it hopes the Indian customers will warm up to.
There is plenty to like about the C3 Aircross. So what are your thoughts on this crossover?
