Haven’t we all seen hundreds of unboxing of mobile phones and want to check the first look of the device. Sadly, this is not a case with automobiles as the cars we buy don’t come , until of course – it’s Aston Martin. You can now satiate your eyes with the unwrapping of Aston Martin V12 Vantage AMR, the first one to make way to India. The video of the unwrapping of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage AMR came when it was delivered at the owner's house.
Unveiled last year, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage AMR will cost around Rs 5 crore in India and the car that is seen in the limited edition model with a production run of 100 units.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage AMR is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine that pushes out 595 bhp and comes mated to a 7-speed manual paddle-shift transmission as standard while a 7-speed manual unit is available as an optional feature. In simple words, it can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
The supercar is finished in Zaffre Blue shade with speed red graphics. The Buyer has also opted for additional AMR specific aero kit and forged wheels. The V12 Vantage AMR is not the first in the owner’s exotic garage. The car joins Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Huracana Performante, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Porsche 911 GT3 along with India’s first Lamborghini Aventador S and Mercedes-AMG GT-R in the garage.
It’s expensive, it’s rare, it’s meant to go stupendously fast and given the Indian road conditions, there aren’t many places that you can drive it at.
