Taking the anti-Chinese sentiment to the next level, the Center has blocked 59 Chinese apps including household names such as TikTok, UC Browser, WeChat, etc. This move comes due to the ongoing tension along the border. The Indian government has announced that it will disallow the usage of these apps on both mobile and non-mobile devices. This move is meant to avoid the use of apps that divert data and eliminate privacy issues.
Ban On Chinese Apps

Already, there were changes back in May taking TikTok, the short-video app to the tenth position on App Store and fifth position on the Play Store.
