Airtel's new home broadband plan offers 1200GB high speed data, unlimited calling at Rs 2199
Telecom operator Bharti Airtel has announced a new home broadband plan with speeds of up to 300 Mbps over Wi-Fi. The FTTH (Fiber-To-the-Home) based plan costs Rs 2199 and offers 1200GB of ultra-high speed data along with unlimited STD and local calling benefits.
Subscribers who opt for this plan also getget free subscription to Airtel's OTT apps - Wynk Music and Airtel TV. Customers will also be able to avail data roll over facility that allows one to carry forward the unused data to the next billing cycle. The data roll over limits is 1000GB. There is also unlimited and free local and STD calling benefits from Airtel landline number.
Please note that the data roll over facility for this plan is available only till October 31, 2018.
Subscribers who buy this plan will also get 1 year free Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs 999. User can get 1-day Prime delivery, access to Prime videos and Amazon Music and lot more with Amazon Prime subscription.
Airtel says that its Home broadband and fixed line services are available in 89 cities across India. It is the second largest fixed broadband services provider in the country.
How to get Airtel new home broadband plan?
Users first have to ensure if Airtel Fiber-to-the-home service is available in their area or not. Users who are not on V-Fiber broadband can get a free upgrade from Airtel website.
Users can purchase the new broadband plan from Airtel website or call customer care for help.
Airtel home broadband plans start at Rs 899 with speeds up to 40 Mbps. User get 150GB broadband data along with unlimited STD and local calling at Rs 899. The second plan costs Rs 1099 and offers 250GB data with speeds of up to 100Mbps. Then there is a Rs 1299 plan that offers 350GB data at speed of up to 100Mbps. Airtel offers data roll over facility on plan and or above Rs 1099. Also the Amazon Prime subscription is also available only for plan and or above Rs 1099.
