The Central Recruitment & Promotion Department of State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the final results of SBI Probationary Officers (PO) examination 2018. Candidates who had appeared for the Phase-III (group exercise and interview) held during September/October 2018 can visit the official website to access the final result.
The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be considered for preparing the final merit list for selection. The marks obtained in the main examination (Phase-II), both in objective test and descriptive test, will be added to the marks obtained in group exercise & interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list.
5 Points To Remember After Finding Out SBI PO Final Result 2018
After selection for the probationary officers, candidates will be exposed to basic banking knowledge, before joining, through an online course and will have to mandatorily complete this course before joining.
Candidates who have passed with flying colours have to execute a Bond for a value of INR 2 lakh to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years, at the time of joining.
While joining, candidates will be designated as ''Probationary Officers'' and will be on probation for two years. They will be subjected to continuous assessment during the probation period.
One who qualifies in the assessment will be confirmed in the Service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Candidates who achieve high scores may be considered for direct placement in the next higher grade, Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II).
Candidates who fail to achieve minimum standards stipulated, his/her services may be terminated as per policy of the Bank in force at the material time.
How SBI PO Final Result 2018 Marks Are Calculated
The candidates have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. Marks secured by the candidates in the main examination (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in group exercises & interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is prepared after aggregating the converted marks of the main examination and group exercises & interview out of 100. The selection of the candidates will be based on the top merit ranks in each category.
