The new facelift C-Class comes with minor exterior updates, along with a number of additional features on the interiors as well. One of the standout features on the 2018 C-Class is the new diamond-studded front grille. This offers a more premium and upmarket presence to the new car.
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift comes in three variants: C220d prime, C220d progressive and the C300d AMG line. With the C220d Progressive costing Rs 44.25 lakh and the top-end C300d AMG line being priced at Rs 48.50 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom (India).
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift also comes with new LED headlamp units and redesigned front bumpers. The car also features an updated design to its 17-inch alloys, while also providing an optional 18-inch one's as well. The rear of the car too comes with mild updates in the form of a newly designed rear bumper and refreshed LED tail lamps.
The C300d, on the other hand, also inherits the sporty character of the AMG line exteriors. It also comes with specific adjustments to the front and rear aprons, along with the Multibeam LED headlamps as standard.
Mercedes-Benz has equipped the new C-Class with the updated and more powerful BS-VI compliant diesel engine. The C-Class facelift comes powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, in-line turbocharged power unit.
The engine further comes in two states of tune: the C200d which produces 194bhp and 400Nm of torque. The second is the C300d with the larger twin-turbo unit churning out 254bhp and 500Nm of torque. All three variants of the new C-Class further come mated to a 9G-Tronic transmission.

Standard features on the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift include a new 12.3-inch colour instrument cluster with three-way customisable options: classic, Sport and Progressive.
It also includes 10.25-inch display at the centre console, dual zone climate control, active park assist, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features on the new C-Class: seven airbags, attention assist and adaptive braking.
