Trading at the Bombay stock exchange today closed 9.74 points down to stand at 18329.26, At the National Stock exchange the Nifty closed 1.85 points up to stand at 5571.40.Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd and Gitanjali Gems ltd were among the top gainers with an increase of 4.22 percent and 3.78 percent respectively, while Unitech ltd and Reliance communications were among the top losers with a decrease of 6.08 percent and 5.63 percent at the close of the markets.
