The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in stocks of small cap companies. It invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of common stocks of small domestic growth companies that are expected to experience solid growth in earnings. The fund may invest in initial public offerings (?IPOs?) and private placements. It may also invest up to 20% of its net assets in foreign securities, which may include American Depository Receipts or substantially similar investments; however, the fund may invest only up to 5% of its net assets directly in foreign securities.
