The investment seeks current income exempt from federal and Virginia income taxes. The fund invests primarily in long-term investment-grade securities the interest on which is exempt from federal income tax (referred to herein as "tax-exempt securities").Normally, at least 80% of annual income is exempt from federal and Virginia income taxes. The fund's dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity is 10 years or more.
