| The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in Latin American common stocks and other equities. Although it may invest in any Latin American country, it expects to invest primarily in common stocks of established companies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Peru. The fund may invest up to 20% of total assets in debt securities, 10% of which may be junk bonds. It is nondiversified. |
